gwenvmc@yahoo.ca BioI live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I've been here since September of 1998 when I moved from my home province of New Brunswick to be with my fiance, now husband (grendel67). I'm an army brat, which means I've moved around a bit in Canada, although I consider myself a Maritimer through and through. I currently work for one of the universities in Ottawa.
grendel67 and I have been married since 1999. We've had our ups and downs, work-wise (we both have had layoffs), but everything seems to be looking up for us now. I don't know that I agree with the idea of "soulmate", in fact, I'm pretty sure I don't, but I do know that he's the man for me and that we make each other very happy.
We have some wonderful friends here in Ottawa and back home in NB. I consider them to be family and sometimes better than family. After all, family is who one is born into, but friends are chosen and all the more precious for it.
